This 1991 BBC Late Show segment on cyberspace with young @GreatDismal, @bruces, Timothy Leary and clothes designer "Angel Biotech" is wonderfully period. youtu.be/VVBCWFlgaXc I guess it felt fashionably zippy at the time but it feels leisurely now.
OK maybe 30 years should feel old. But it doesn't feel very old to me - it was during my adult life - and it's odd to realise that the way people speak can change so much so (fairly) quickly.
I've fallen down a rabbit hole of BBC Late Show on YouTube. This discussion about the potential impact of Bill Clinton on culture feels *so* old. Christopher Hitchens, Tama Janowitz, Shere Hite, Cosmo Landesman and Bill Buford, hosted by Sarah Dunant youtu.be/rFqe9DttSfM

Earlier I overheard Susannah singing Ivor a lullaby she’d made up. It went “Milk is what we drink before bed”. I asked her to record a quick voice memo of it while I made dinner. Added some chords after dinner. Sweet. ♥️
Anyway. I noticed this today.
