One end of our floor dipped a bit, which I'd never noticed under carpet. The guys obviously didn't do anything to level it as the boards creak and move slightly. Getting a little better over time…
@felix_cohen @breekom We got engineered wood for our lounge. It has 4mm of actual wood on top of cheaper material. woodpeckerflooring.co.uk/product/harlec… Looks and feels great. We also looked at woodpeckerflooring.co.uk/product/lynton… which isn't laminate or engineered, apparently, and has 1mm of wood and built-in underlay.
