    @tomcoates @alicejanetaylor Maybe in practice it’s defined by exam boards for some age groups. But, obviously, I know nothing about this anyway :)

    @tomcoates @alicejanetaylor It looks like there are hardly any specific topics that *must* be taught (in England). Only broad areas containing "non-statutory" suggested topics: gov.uk/government/pub… So it seems odd to say definitively that a specific topic isn't taught in "the British education system".
