    @Zoonie @tomskitomski @smagdali Well… there are *big* obvious differences in frame geometry from road bikes to sit-up-and-beg bikes and everything in between! Nothing beats trying a few out to see what feels right.

    @dotcode @tomskitomski Yeah, I just wanted a comfortable ride at a reasonable speed.

    @dotcode @tomskitomski Fair enough. I've only had one bike with suspension (front) and didn't really notice it helping in terms of comfort, certainly compared to the difference between a road bike and a more comfy bike.

    @tomskitomski I always understood that unless you're going downhill or on very bumpy tracks, suspension, especially front, is just going to make it harder work.

    I found big difference between a road bike with skinny tires (juddery) and a bike with fatter tires and softer saddle (more comfy).
