The Problem with Muzak | Liz Pelly
Although I love having so much music available in Spotify, I’m increasingly aware how often I use it unthinkingly just for “background music for working” which I’m not very proud of. So even aside from these odd industry-changing effects, I’m feeling uneasy about Spotify.

@phl Don’t they? Like, they could fit right in if London was expanded to fit some new bits in the middle.

@GreatDismal @samuel_wade This suggests that what's now Fitzrovia used to be considered the northern part of Soho hidden-london.com/gazetteer/fitz… Bohemian re-branding!
@GreatDismal I’d concur with those saying Fitzrovia is west of Tottenham Court Road. Maybe Bloomsbury but I’d say “just off TCR, next to Heals”. Lots of little bits of London just don’t fit comfortably into named areas and it sounds weird to shoehorn them in.
