America Has Never Been So Ripe for Tyranny — NYMag
There are loads of worried articles about Trump but this is a nice long overview of worries. (via @spongefile)

@whoisdanw Exactly :) I guess some of the complicated details might seem simpler when UIs have been updated.
@gwire My hot takes are always lukewarm by the time I’ve read the manual.
The number of people with a strong opinion about Twitter’s changes vs the number of people who understand Twitter’s changes.
@whoisdanw Only if the (one) URL from attaching “photos, a video, GIF, poll, Quote Tweet, or DM deep link” is at the end of the tweet.
@whoisdanw “URLs typed or pasted inside the Tweet will be counted towards the character limit as they do today”
@whoisdanw That’s not what they’re doing though.
The tweet changes seem a lot more complex to implement and understand than “simply” increasing the length. I assume there are good reasons…?
@iamdanw Come on Dan, admit it: you want to have your photo taken for Wired standing on a box in the courtyard…
Not going out, I rarely get a chance to moan about slow transport, so: One hour to travel 1.5 miles by bus through central London! Lordy.
@rod @tomskitomski “But I thought we had a No Blame Culture!” I said as she filed for divorce.
@helendmeyourear My commiserations.
@tomskitomski I can’t see the product manager v client+designer+developer relationships being a recipe for a happy marriage!
I need a strict product manager for my personal projects to stop the constant scope creep. This designer, developer and client are awful!
