A couple of times I’ve tried to find the term for this (pronouncing an ‘l’ in a word a bit more like ‘w’), and failed. Now I’ve got it.

Viewing the source, in 1995 I hadn’t worked out you could stretch pixel.gifs so I made different ones for each size gyford.com/archive/1995/w…
