@johndodds Yeah, there were a bunch of gen X movies like that at the time, but they were set at the same time (not period pieces).

I'd forgotten quite how good 'Dazed and Confused' is. "I just wanna dance!"

'American Graffiti' made 1973, set 1962. 'Dazed and Confused' made 1993, set 1976… any similar films set in '80s or '90s but made later?
