@dracos Oh, that’s a very handy page, thank you!
Happy Birthday @WiredUK! About 18.7 or so years old!
@invisiblecomma Thanks. I’d seen composer, didn’t know if it was widespread.
@dracos Thanks! That was the one thing I’d seen, but didn’t know how to tell how popular it is, or if there are alternatives.
@holgate Gotcha. I’m writing some example code, so need to do something that makes sense to most people likely to use PHP over ruby/python.
@holgate Underlying OS package manager?
@holgate I don’t know what the state of php package managers is. I’m out of touch. APC? There was only PEAR in my day.
(I’m writing some example PHP and don’t want people to have to install something that’s a pain. Which PECL seems, at first glance.)

@tomtaylor Oh, funny, me too. A bit of typing, you know. Same old, same old.
@tomtaylor so, er, how are you?
@tomtaylor hello!
@tomtaylor hogging all the empty mugs…
@paulpod Maybe in the ‘90s grandad! The new dotcom dream is to have a TaskRabbit feed me luxury foodstuffs.
‘The Jack Sprat Startup’
Eating “luxury shortbread”. Living the dotcom dream. It’s a short step from this to having my own private Randian seastead.
