The old films were good though.

Worst thing about the ‘Estate’ film show at the Barbican was Qs for the panel from the audience. They never learn. Second worst: the
panel.

@hondanhon I love that period when films were consistently really great! Oh, wait…

@revdancatt I guess there’s also the “dancing about architecture” problem. So much of learning code is actually trying things out.

@revdancatt Yeah. I *try* to write nicely when I do documentation, but have no idea if I’m any better than the standard.

While I’m at it…descriptions of code that say “That’s it!” or that casually describe things as “simply” doing something. YOU’RE IN TOO DEEP!

“That code block is converted to an object of class Proc and assigned to the parameter.” zzzzzz *snore* zzzzzz

I wonder if I’d be a better programmer if my eyes didn’t glaze over whenever I read any explanations of programming.
