@ianbetteridge Or just did it better, later. Like computers, music players, phones, tablets…
@aanand @tomstuart Few years back Python sounded more “me” than Ruby, so learnt that. Now, learning Ruby, think I was right. But early days.
@iamdanw @tomstuart @tom_armitage I hope it can be a @radioroundabout slot in which we read out code, live on air. Give them what they want!
@tomstuart There should be some kind of tax on it. HA HA!
@tomstuart Ta, I will read! It seems a bit nuts to me that this can happen, but what do I know.
My thanks to Peter Alfvin, @tomstuart and @tom_armitage for all coming up with the answer to Issue 1’s question: stackoverflow.com/a/18535216/250…
@tomstuart Ah... no, I didn’t know about that!
Issue 1, comes with free binder: “Ruby URI module oddness in modular Sinatra app“: stackoverflow.com/questions/1853…

@stml I’m enjoying rereading ‘Ambient’ amazon.co.uk/Ambient-ebook/… I haven’t read his ‘Random Acts of Senseless Violence’ which gets rec’d a lot.
Photos of famous, successful and popular non-British-born but considered-British people stamped with UKBA logo and “GO HOME”.
The UK Border Agency are initiating an internal process to choose the organisation’s new anthem. Candidates: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Going_Hom…
[Insert Photo of Edward and Tubbs Photoshopped, by someone with more time, to have the faces of David Cameron and Theresa May.]
THIS IS A LOCAL COUNTRY FOR LOCAL PEOPLE.
YOU GO HOME! YOU GO HOME! EVERYONE GOES HOME!
@gilest Is that the UKBA’s new mission statement?
ASK ABOUT GOING HOME
@bobbiejohnson @berglondon Handshaking-as-a-service needs some optimisation. But @blogjam provided a high five, so all is good, thanks both!
