Years of writing, tweets, books read, photos taken, music listened to, sites linked to, locations checked in to. All of it moving.
That’s the difficulty with “own your own data”. Over the years you accumulate so much that the processes become onerous.
I should rewrite it. But the last Frankenstein’s monster, from the previous attempt, lies half-finished on the table, already obsolete.
My personal site is gradually rotting, interactions with services breaking, libraries no longer being updated, features disappearing.
