  1. Just Another Day - Walton on the Naze - Part 1

    1983 TV documentary about the Essex seaside town, directed by Adam Curtis. On the one hand, it’s just how I remember it from those days, and on the other, 1983 looks really old.

    @whoisdanw @blech Maybe you’ve just noticed them now? I haven’t seen much recently, whereas they seemed big a couple(?) of year ago.

    @iamdanw Like how it’d be good to be able to replay twitter when watching a time-shifted live TV event, the same but for book club.

    @blech @whoisdanw If there was a curmudgeonly high-five equivalent I’d do that now.

    @Zoonie @dracos And I can’t say that a multiplex feels particularly luxury or special.

    @iamdanw Can you collect them in one place for the convenience of us laggards?

    @tomstuart @antimega @dracos @suegyford Well, I suppose it works out about £6 per dimension. Maybe I’ll try the 1D version next time.

    @Zoonie I remember watching it on telly at the time, but not seen it since. 1983 looks so old.

    @tomstuart I’d generally complain if there was no text attribution. People read with their eyes, not their mouse.

    @dracos You and @suegyford speak with but one voice! £12.25 at Vue Islington for a 2D film.

    @suegyford Vue Islington was £12.25, for a 2D film.

    Every time I go to the cinema I’m amazed how expensive it is. Every time. I’d say it was me getting old, but I can’t be ageing *that* fast.
