@phl Yeah, looks gorgeous. Gamewise it was a mixed bag. What are your favourite driving games? I’m considering what’s next…
@phl I might change my mind next time I play of course. And I still feel a bit queasy.
@phl That’s what I usually find, but for some reason it suddenly felt better. Faster, closer to the action, more in it rather than watching.
Just realised how much more fun Forza Horizon is using the in-car view. Might have to play it through again. Also, more motion sickness.
@tomcoates Not sure if any of pinboard.in/u:philgyford/t… fit the bill. (And, yes, it takes so long to make templates from scratch these days.)
@feedbinapp It looks lovely, but I’m not entirely sure what it is. Online service only? Mac app only? iOS app only? Two or all of those?
Every time I call HMRC it takes their robot a minute to tell me they’re too busy to take my call. Stop beating around the bush! Blah blah.
@denisewilton @mildlydiverting And how else do you know how to refer to things you’ve bought? Always be sharing! #tweet #conversation
@denisewilton @mildlydiverting All packaging should look like this only with a # in front of each product name. 3guys1movie.com/wp-content/upl…
@tomstuart @jamesweiner I was talking to a client yesterday who’s cut down to 8 a day. He behaves surprisingly normally. I’m 1-2/day.
At least Google Reader notifies you as prominently as possible that it’ll be shutting down. Execution instead of assassination.
@iamdanw Presumably derived from “sunset bills” in 1970s US: “The hottest political idea of the year is something called the sunset bill.”
@iamdanw OED has various references, e.g., “[The] act would be sunsetted out of existence.” (1978, Canadian Broadcasting Corp. News)
Twitter’s apps and the Twitter API compared to Google Reader and its API. I can see why Twitter are so keen to stamp out third party apps.
