A map for every day
I’ve made maps of my activity for every day, using tweets, Foursquare check-ins and Flickr photos.

NFLUK.com - News List - Football’s coming home to Channel 4
Channel 4 gets Sunday Night Football. I’m very glad there’s some free-to-air NFL again, but am amazed deals like this are only finalised a week before the season starts. I hope the presenters are as good as Five’s were.

Put up or shut up - Roger Ebert’s Journal
24 per cent of Republicans believe Obama is the Antichrist. The Antichrist. Hard to know where to start, but I guess Ebert’s thoughts are a first step. Today, I am liking Britain.

Philgyford’s mytweets at master - GitHub
I updated Simon Willison’s “Script for saving a JSON archive of your tweets”, which Blech and others have added to since, to use OAuth.

The Online Photographer: Mike’s Darkroom
I’ve been really enjoying these posts about constructing a darkroom. Not because I want one, but because reading about the layout decisions made by someone with lots of experience is fascinating. There’s so much a novice would miss.

@tobybarnes Unfortunately it's a complicated mix of Movable Type and custom PHP. I am thinking about how to abstract it, somehow...
@tobybarnes Thanks.Yes, I have a local database that stores my tweets and caches photo info.
What a lovely evening. And a lovely day ahead tomorrow, especially if I get up early enough...
Also Ping, "Matt wants to follow you on iTunes Ping" is not very useful. I know more Matts than you know genres. But that's not hard.
@moleitau I've always been surprised that Twitter clients don't make it more/at all obvious which tweets are private.
Ping's a social music recommendation network without the recommendations. Or knowledge of music. Or much sociability.
@smagdali It's exactly the same list of artists for everyone. Which makes no sense whatsoever, but don't take it personally. Very odd.
In more positive Apple news, the Multiple Speakers window in iTunes 10 is better, with individual volume controls per output.
@megp You should draw a vicious cartoon satirising such profligacy.
@danhon My boss is awful. I may have to sleep with him to get some time off. Right, I have to go and buy his lunch now!
Really, Ping? You could know more about my listening habits than anyone but Last.fm and you just recommend me artists who paid to be there?
The world's biggest, and most useless, pigeonholes: "Rock", "Pop", "Alternative", etc.
Apple TV: It doesn't actually show or record TV? It's a thing you buy so you can rent videos? Or am I missing something? #highcourtjudge
After a couple of weeks off yoga I was like the Tin Man.
