ESPN - OTL: The Franchise - E-ticket
I like American football but have never played Madden (until trying the demo this evening). I enjoyed this article about the history of the game, and trying to make the first version work on early consoles.

BBC - About the BBC: BBC Genome: The Complete Broadcast History of the BBC
Wonderful - the BBC is OCRing and making computer-readable, all the programme listings from the ‘Radio Times’ going back to 1922. (via @catfunt)

Just tried the demo of Madden 11. Looks incredible. Mostly baffling. Also, despite authenticity all the fans are young, slim and attractive.

@Zoonie But... that's not on the internet! I don't understand!
@antimega Hmm, need more maps. Maps with boundaries.
Unsure how to determine the shape of possibly vague areas (Paddington, Smithfield, etc) in the 17th century. May make it up, create history.
@moleitau What to do with siliconroundabout.ning.com ? IPO!
Just saw a cycle hire employee wiping down each individual bike stand on Golden Lane. Best kept street furniture ever.
