Aww... just tried logging into Spacebar for the first time in a couple of years and it no there. Nor http://spacebar.com/ Sad face.
@fidothe Yes, I have a tape deck and a cable. I'm wondering what to do with the physical tapes themselves.
@muteboy I will be recording/documenting any mix tapes. But all the taped albums... it's a lot of plastic rubbish.
@RichardA Oh yes, I'm doing that with anything unique/sentimental. It's just all the other generic stuff that I'll have to landfill :(
@kassita A wig! I could make myself a huge cassette tape afro wig!
@ianbetteridge Exactly. I'm doing that with unique/sentimental tapes, but most of it's buyable as MP3s. That land needs filling anyway...
@RichardA Maybe I can have them cut into vinyl too...
@revdancatt Oh they are very nice, better than any copies I'd attempt.
@rooreynolds He he. Maybe with a ransom-style note, "S0rRy FOr KillInG mUSic"?
There's nothing you can do with dozens of cassettes of albums you taped years ago, other than throw them away, is there?
It has a UI from the 1990s but I so love this 1746 map of London: http://www.motco.com/map/81002/ So detailed. (I'm still plotting streets.)
I hardly go to the theatre yet I still get at least one piece of email/postal direct mail per week from theatres I've attended. UNSUBSCRIBE!

Have seen the Olympic site. It is very big. Heard the word "legacy" a lot. It is very impressive.
