    @blogjam @tomcoates But books tempt us so!

    @shiningchrome I’ve managed to fill this time with reading news, social media, and blogs. There’s not enough time!

    @benbrown That would really cut into my morning “catching up on the horrors of the world” time…

    @tomcoates Same, less and less every year.

    @peterme @migurski Ah, but we now live at the red marker…
    (Google only knows why it's decided to put one green marker on a random coffee shop.)

    @mabraFoo Listening to podcasts/books is another thing I've never managed to find the right kind of time for unfortunately.

    @BerelLevy Good idea. I'm always, "right I'm going to *read*, so I need at least an hour to *properly read* some of this book *properly*," so never do.

    @migurski @peterme I think I used to have "beach reads" but now we live a long way from any beaches…

    @philsheard @simonw @readwise @readwise looks intriguing! A shame that finding out more details beyond the front page requires signing up though.

    @LillyLyle That would be *lovely*. Unfortunately our closest coffee shop is a half-hour drive away :(

    @garrettc That sounds like heaven.

    @headfirstonly The answer to "how do you make time to read books?" now seems to be "how do you make time to have a long bath?"!

    @simonw Sounds good. I still like paper books – and have a load to read – and I like taking notes but it does slow the process up even more. Maybe I should just photo the interesting bits… hmm.

    @peterme I've been half-intending to do more reading with my cup of tea around 4pm, on days I'm not working in the afternoon. But… [looks at clock] …here I am tweeting and doing some DIY chores instead.

    @LillyLyle Very good. I only do showers, which are a a bit impractical for book reading.

    @aanand There are so many things I feel I should add to my early morning routine that, if I were to do them all, I'd have to get up the day before. That's not even including the excelling towards excellence that I have to do.

    My only book reading is fiction, briefly, in bed, if I haven't left it too late after reading the shorter, needier, internet things. So it takes me weeks, at best, to plod through a novel. Non-fiction just glowers at me from the shelf.

    Do you read books? When do you read?

    I haven't found a way to persuade my jittery attention brain to settle down to read books much for a while, so wondering when and how you all do it. When's your reading time?
