  1. Country statistics — DataMarket

Lots of nice statistics, presented in a decent, usable way. So many of the international organisation sites with this stuff are appalling. (via @johndodds)

@ultrazool I *wish* it was Austin. Houston’s suburbs were less fun.

@mrstth Ooh, fun! I SAID, FUN!! CAN YOU HEAR ME? STOP FOR A MOMENT… oh never mind.

@johndodds I’m (stupidly) the kind of person who spends a day swearing at the internet rather than making one phone call.

    Also, via @johndodds: data.un.org/Data.aspx?d=WD… and datamarket.com/data/set/12o6/… Thanks!

Long shot: Anyone know where to get GDP deflator data for many countries from 1955ish to now?

    WAKE UP!
